Embu Level 5 Hospital has a pharmacy department, which offers quality pharmaceutical services to its clients. The pharmacy department has well-trained qualified pharmacy staff.

A Formulary is available to guide the prescribers on which products are available and to encourage Rational prescribing. The formulary is regularly reviewed and updated by the medicine therapeutics committee. The services offered in pharmacy include dispensing of medications, counseling patients on usage of medications, preparing extemporaneous products, checking and advising on dosages and drug interactions and inventory control.
