Intensive Care Unit And High Dependancy Unit

The ICU has provided care for critically ill patients who would have faced almost certain death prior to its development. A team of consultant physicians, a registered clinical officer, and three critical care nurses per shift who provide 24-hour care provides the medical care. The ICU cares for patients with a wide range of conditions including general surgery, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, obstetrics, neonatal, pediatrics, and internal medicine patients. The ICU team provides continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, vasoactive medical support, mechanical ventilation, and noninvasive ventilation.
